We are delighted to invite you to SBSICON 2025, the 3rd Annual Conference of the Stillbirth Society of India, taking place from 29th–31st August 2025, at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, the renowned city of Nawabs.
This year’s theme, “Pathways to Prevention – Learning from Loss,” highlights innovations in stillbirth prevention and support for affected families, bringing together experts, advocates, and researchers for meaningful discussions and collaboration.

Technical Lead for reproductive, maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health and nutrition (RMNCAH-N) for DAI Global Health Her focus of work is on quality of care in maternal and newborn health.
Perinatal health and injuries are her major research interests, with focus on epidemiology and broader determinants of neonatal mortality and stillbirths, mental health dimensions of perinatal mortality, and improving the quality of available data in developing country settings for action.
Director, Global Academy of Medical Education & Training, St. John's College, Jaffna Kingston Upon Thames, England, UK. Consultant Obstetrician & Gynecologist. He is a globally recognized expert in intrapartum care, obstetric emergencies & patient safety.
Professor Maternal Fetal Medicine at University of Washington, USA. Has dedicated her career to optimizing maternal and fetal outcomes, particularly in complex pregnancies involving preeclampsia, fetal growth restriction, and gestational diabetes.
Pathology Discipline Director and Human Disease Foundation-I Course Director. Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Perinatology Research Branch Department of Pathology, Wayne State University School of Medicine, Hutzel Women's Hospital, Detroit USA.
Maternal & Fetal Medicine obstetrician gynecologist Morristown Medical Center and Overlook Medical Center. Dr. Smok graduated from Marshall University Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and is board certified in Maternal & Fetal Medicine. She is also an assistant professor at Columbia University, New York, USA.
